Reflection

What did you enjoy most about this project and why?
The thing I enjoy this project the most is when we decorating our poster, because we can always
come up some new ideas when we are working as a team.

What was most challenging for you during this project and why?
The most challenging for me during this project was managing my time, because we had a lot of 
things to finish at once, so I couldn't manage well my own time.

what new skills did you learn from doing this project?
I learn to how push myself into work, and be more concentrate.

Is there anything that you could have done to improve any of your work? Explain.
If I ever have the chance to work on it, I think I can put more detail in it, especially I will try to 
manage time carefuller than before.

What would you change about this project?
I wish I can reduce a little work from this project, because I really think this is too much for us, many students had done their work until midnight 3 A.M., but I do enjoy it, I haven't work so hard like this since I come to this high school, it was so rush, and everybody is rushing, with me. However, I hope our next project could be lesser.

The theory of plate tectonics

Plate tectonic theory is all the plate move different direction.  Another word for plate is crust. Crust is the surface of the earth, which we called lithosphere. There are two different types of crust, continental crust and oceanic crust. These crusts create different movement and the movement creates many beautiful features and also many unforgettable disaster.
Plate's movement can cause by earthquake and tsunami, for example，earthquake that happen in 2012 japan, was transform boundary on continental crust and continental crust cause many building destroy and deaths. Also tsunami at a subduction zone in Indian ocean in 2004, cause many people lost their lives and many small islands were drown. These both evidence shows transform boundary are mostly nightmare.

There is also a movement that pushes land together called convergent boundary.Convergent boundary had created many mountains, for examples: Himalaya mountain and Kunlun mountain were both mountains that create by convergent boundary. They were built by two-plate push together and form mountains.

Divergent boundary is another movement of the plate tectonics, divergent boundary creates many features. Rift valley and mid-ocean ridge are both created by divergent boundary, rift valley is only create when continental crust and continental crust divergent, but mid-ocean ridge is create between oceanic crust and oceanic crust divergent, so the magma is hardened and become ridges. One example of rift valley is that divergent boundary happen 3 million years ago between the land of California and Nevada create a valley as now we named “death valley”. Another example of divergent boundary is divergent happen in Huang Shan area, there were sea, and which after many divergent movement create mid- ocean ridge.

In conclusion,  I agree with the theory of plate tectonics, Because the plate still changing every years, and every year, many earth quake and tsunami happened in different subduction zone, witch proves how the crust is moving in different ways.

Heliocentric VS. Geocentric Model

Astronomy- （天文学）The study of universe.
Ptolemy- （托勒密）A astronomer who believe Geocentric model.
Copernicus- （哥白尼）A astronomer who believe Heliocentric.
Geocentric Model- （地心说）The earth is in the center, and everything goes around it.
Heliocentric Model- （日心说）The sun is in the center, and everything goes around it.
Revolution- （旋转）When the earth is orbit around the sun.

Astronomy is what we call for a study of the universe. As we all know, the earth is surrounding the sun, and that what revolution is. In back then, 16th Century, Ptolemy thinks every planets, sun and stars are surrounding the earth, which was support by the Catholic church. We named it Geocentric model. Everybody believe his theory without a doubt. but later on, there a guy named copernicus invented heliocentric model, which is sun in the center and everything else is surrounding the sun. It was oppose by the catholic church, because they think he is against to the god. However, Copernicus's theory was correct and proved by telescope.



- *Revolution also affect the earth, for example,the ocean follows where the moon goes, that create spring tide and falling tide. spring tide is when the moon and ocean are close each other, falling tide is when the moon and ocean are far from each other.

- In this project I enjoy the atmosphere when we were working together and listening music at the same time.
- The most challenging foe me during this project is to record my voice and combines it to the video, because it was hard to catch up the flow of the video.
- I learn more about working with media from this project.
-One thing I would like to improve is that we can improve more on our background, I think we should make it as black or dark blue to look like galaxy.
